PARTNERSHIPS
The
Historic Westside is a rich blend of sights and sounds that heighten
and please the senses. From academia to street art; boutiques to mini malls;
intimate ethnic dining to fast food chains - the Historic Westside is ripe
with opportunities to live, work and invest in a vibrant and popular community.
Our
neighbors are actively involved in the preservation, safety and economic
development of our community.
At
the core of the geographic area is the Atlanta University Center Institutions:
Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Clark
Atlanta University, Morris Brown College and the Interdenominational Theological
Center.
The
community is bound by Thurmond Street on the north; Ralph D. Abernathy on
the south, Northside Drive on the east and Langhorn Street on the west.
